Beverages Strawberry & Mint Lemonade July 2, 2013 On a hot summer’s day, like today in California, this would be the best drink to make. The mint and strawberries added a sweet and sour flavor. Enjoy this lovely concoction of wonderfulness. I used the mint from our garden and I bought fresh strawberries from the grocery store. 🙂 Strawberry & Mint Lemonade Recipe- Makes about 8-10 servings Ingredients: 1 cup of strawberries 1 big bunch of fresh mint leaves 1/4 cup of cane sugar 1 1/2 cups of lemonade 1 liter of sparkling water * lemon slices to decorate the glass with Directions- 1. Cut the strawberries, and make sure to remove the tops. Place the strawberries on the bottom of a pitcher. Add the sugar and the mint. (Make sure the mint is a bit crushed.) 2. Mix the ingredients together until the strawberries have broken down a bit. 3. Pour in the lemon and sparkling water. Mix and stir the ingredients until the sugar is dissolved. Top it off with a few lemon slices. Kali Orexi!!!! Tip- For adults, if you would like this to get even tastier, you can add in a few tsp of white rum. Super yummy. Let me know what you think. Yes Lavender, has a great taste. You should try out lavender creme brulee, and go from there. Basically you would infuse lavender flowers into milk, and boil that for about 3 minutes, and you can use that flavoring in any recipe. 🙂 You can even make a lavender sugar. I will post some recipes for you, and yes I will let you know when our lavender sea salt is ready.
