This is what you do with left over tiropita filling.

Soo, you know that pastry that we all love with feta and phyllo dough……. Yes Tiropita. I made that today and I had left over filling. I was trying to come up with recipes that I can incorporate the feta filling with. I finally decided on this one below and it tastes very good. My sister gave it 5 stars! 🙂 Try it out, and amaze your friends with this simple recipe.


yields- 10


5 bell peppers- cleaned and halved

4 tablespoons of olive oil

4 tsp of fresh dill- chopped

sea salt & ground pepper

2 cups tiropita filling: 1 cup feta cheese, 1/2 sour cream, 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, 3 tsp dill, 1/4 cup of milk, and one egg beaten. Mix and combine.

In a baking pan, place the halved peppers inside, and fill each pepper with the feta filling. Sprinkle the dill on top of each pepper, and add the seasonings and olive oil. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes at 325 degrees. Remove and serve .
