  1. Hi, Krystina! Congratulations on your awards! Mazel tov. 🙂 I love your post – the answers to your questions are so interesting and fun. 🙂 You are a very fortunate person who takes advantage of all of you have given – and lives a full and rich life. Wonderful! 🙂 Now, I must go and check out your blog for a spankakopita recipe! 😉 Have a great day. – Shanna

    1. Hi Shanna
Thank you for the nominations!! Very sweet of you. Yes I try to live every day by the fullest. 🙂 Especially in the kitchen lol. Glad you enjoyed it and the spanakopita recipe I have is to die for. I have made that since I was about 7 or 8 years old. Let me know if you have any questions. 🙂

      1. Hi, Krystina – I went through all of your appetizer recipes but could not find it. Which section is it in? I am trying to figure out how to install a search widget for my blog and will let you know if I figure it out. Take good care! Shanna

      2. Krystina – I really enjoy looking through your recipes. It is a joy. I will find it. Also, I found out how to add a search widget. It is in the dashboard under sharing – just drag it to the enabled box. 🙂 Be well! Shanna

      1. Yes, Whole Foods is great. Nuggets are about the same but I love the Nugget Gelato and cheeses. 🙂
I will be emailing you soon. Oh great, I think triple sec orange will be a great addition to your baklava syrup. 😉

      2. Hi, Krystina – Sounds delicious! Hopefully I will come across one some day! We only have a year and a half in New Mexico remaining, so their could be a Nuggets in our future – are they all over the NW and West coast? Best, Shanna

      3. Krystina,
So, actually, we might be moving to CA in a year. My husband wants to know where I would like to live. I haven’t really decided! I want a good quality of life – walkability, good restaurants, good schools, community, outdoors (we are very active). Tell me more about CA. I have been there a few times, but it is a huge state.
If we joined forces, I would have to go to culinary school first – you are a PRO and well-seasoned as a chef.
        Be well!

      4. You guys are???!! That is soo great to hear. I will be your tour guide. LOL I think the best cities to live in California are:
San Francisco, San Jose, Cupertino, Sacramento, El Dorado Hills, San Diego, and there are many more.

I live in between El Dorado Hills and Sacramento. It’s called Fair Oaks. We live in the Suburbs.

I would love to join forces!!! I can teach you everything you need to know. You don’t need to go to culinary school. Some great chefs didn’t even attend school. 🙂

      5. Hi, Krystina… My husband is applying for one year fellowships. There are a few in CA that he is interested in. We shall see! I sent my husband the list of your “best cities.” Are they affordable? Culinary school… do you really think it is not necessary? That is so interesting! I feel that there is sooooooo much to learn. Have a great weekend – love hearing from you. – Shanna

      6. Hi Shanna!

Okay my thoughts on Culinary school. The thing is, you need great teachers!! I feel like you need a good school, and your instructors teach you everything. I thought pastry school was kind of a waste, in the fact that I knew how to do soo many things they taught, and I was bored. The only class I really learned was cake class. So, I spent over 20,000 and thought it wasn’t worth it. But, if you attend culinary school, then you learn kitchen etiquette, knife skills and more. I really learned in the field, when I was externing in Greece.

      7. Hi, Krystina,
These are some great thoughts – thank you for sharing with me. Did you you attend culinary school after pastry school? Where did you go? How did you arrange for the externship in Greece? The externship sounds like it was key – along with great instructors for skills and technique. Have a great weekend, chica.
        Warmly, Shanna

      8. I actually attended Pastry school, but I externed in Greece as a sous chef, and I learned quite a bit about culinary in general. Especially from Las Vegas. 🙂

Like I said, measuring isn’t my skills. Since I have had this blog, I made it part of my skills lol.

  2. So here I am, as negligent as ever, not having posted a single word on my previous nomination(s) [because I am ashamed to say I’ve been “ditching” nominations from other fellow bloggers too, for a while… *sigh*] and here you are, as kind and generous as usual, sending more love my way… Infinite thanks Krystina! I should just shut up and write that acknowledment post already! 😛

      1. 😀 😀 😀 I am equally excited! Unfortunately I won’t be able to get my hands on it until next weekend (I won’t be going to Athens this one!). As soon as I do though… well, let’s just say it will be party time!!! 😀 😀 😀

  3. Congratulations on ALL these amazing awards! Your blog has been a joy to follow and is definitely deserving of the recognition! Keep up the great work. And a humble thanks for nominating Vittle Monster blog.

  4. Congratulations on all the well-deserved awards! Thank you for including me in your list of nominees. That was very kind of you, Krystina, and I appreciate it very much. Now, where’s that spanakopita recipe you were talking about? I’ll have to check it out; it’s only one of my favorite things! 🙂
