I wanted to share with everyone on WordPress that I entered into a great contest from FedEx. I came across this contest by a mistake when searching for shipping rates and this is what I saw.

“Enter to win our contest. Vote for this business to help them win one of six small business grants from FedEx, including the $25,000 grand prize.”

I said why not, so I entered into their contest on http://smallbusinessgrant.fedex.com/

They ask you a few questions in regards to your business and what inspired you to get into the business, and how do you define success.  It’s pretty simple, and basic. I found over a few hundred business’s already registered for this contest, and they have over a few hundred votes. I said okay, let’s do this.

Kouzounas Kitchen can use this grant money for:

1. I would like to relocate into a commercial kitchen, with more equipment and space.

2. Many of my friends and followers have asked when I will be holding a second cooking class. Unfortunately the classes come with permits, and renting space. I do not have the funds for this at the moment, so I would use the grant money to help make this happen.

3. I need to print out menus, promotional items, and t-shirts to help promote Kouzounas Kitchen.
