By all means! Go ahead! It has always been me belief that getting together for food was more than just food. Ancient Greeks had the famous Symposiums (which means drinking together, really) which were a chance to get into long and interesting philosophical talks! So every lunch or dinner around the same table is in a way, a means to communicate with people. Before the “let’s go for a coffee” days, we used to say “let’s eat together”.
