Sunday’s Crazy Ingredient: Ginger

Hello Sunday! I had a wonderful Anniversary dinner tonight, celebrated two awesome years with my boyfriend. I wanted to say that I am one of the luckiest girls in the world! If you haven’t seen my boyfriend’s wonderful photography make sure you check it out at the link below.

How about a soothing ginger tea to help you relax tonight…

I love ginger for its taste and the health benefits it brings. Especially to ease a tummy ache. 🙂

Ginger & Mint Tea Recipe

  • 10 thin slices fresh ginger
  • 1 Tbs. honey
  • 2 sprigs of mint


1. Put ginger and mint along with 3 cups water in small saucepan, and bring to a boil.
2. Reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer 20 to 25 minutes.
3. Strain out ginger slices and mint, discard.
4. Stir in honey and serve.
