Let me correct my last comment. This recipe is from my friend who learned how to make it from his yiayia from Smyrna. But for people to claim what foods come from what cultures, I don&#039;t think we can fully say. How can we say who invented pizza first or lasagna when we haven&#039;t been around that long to know who created it? Just my two thoughts.]]></description>

There are several version of EACH Greek recipe actually. This version is derived from Smyrna and to be honest I do not want to say where these two dishes derived from because we don&#039;t really know where it came from in the ancient times. ]]></description>
