Happy Sunday to you! Here is a deliciously easy beverage to make that involves the secret ingredient “saffron.”
Saffron Basil Lemon Iced Tea Recipe
- 4 @saffrondirect Greek lemon tea bags & cinnamon saffron tea bags
- 5 sprigs of basil
- 1 pinch of saffron leaves
- 2 lemons juiced
- 5 tablespoons of honey
- 2 cups of hot water
- 6 cups of cold water
- Basil leaves for garnish
- Ice cubes
- Prepare the hot water. Once water is hot pour over tea bags and saffron in a large mug. Steep for about 10 minutes.
- Stir in the honey and basil leaves. Then add the lemon juice and stir to combine. Pour the liquid in a large pitcher and then add the cold water over the top and stir. Chill in refrigerator overnight until flavors come together. Serve with fresh basil leaves and ice cubes.
