Weekly thought of the day is…
Ginger & it’s benefits.. Ginger root (Zingiber officinale) is well known as a remedy for travel sickness, nausea and indigestion and is used for wind, colic, irritable bowel, loss of appetite, chills, cold, flu, poor circulation, menstrual cramps, dyspepsia (bloating, heartburn, flatulence), indigestion and gastrointestinal problems such as gas and stomach cramps.
It is also great to cook with! I will post a recipe tomorrow for ginger. 🙂
You know, Ginger is essential in many countries in the East where they use it for cooking and they put it in tea with cinnamon. It is both beneficial and tasty!
Yes very true. I grew to appreciate ginger to treat pains in my stomach or even just for the flavor. I love ginger and ginger ale. 🙂
