Welcome to Kouzounas Kitchen. I’m Chef Krystina Kalapothakos, a California-based chef with deep Greek roots and a passion for sharing authentic food and culture. While California is home, you’ll often find me spending part of the year in Greece, living like a local and showcasing the country beyond the tourist lens.
Through Kouzounas Kitchen, I bring Greece to Americans through traditional recipes, seasonal ingredients, local experiences, and modern interpretations of classic dishes. My goal is to connect people to Greek culture through food — the way it’s truly lived, cooked, and shared at the table.
