Roasted Butternut Squash Greek Style Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 butternut squash
  • 2 teaspoons of fresh rosemary- chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Sea salt & ground pepper
  • 1 cup of crumbled feta cheese

Directions:

  1. Wash the squash and slice into 4 pieces lengthwise.
  2. Place prepared squash into a baking dish.
  3. Place the oil over the squash.
  4. Sprinkle the rosemary, salt, and pepper on top.
  5. Bake at 375 degrees or 190 Celsius for about 25 minutes or until soft.
  6. Add the feta cheese to squash, and bake an additional 10 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle some fresh parsley on the top.

      1. 🙂 YES. Which baklava recipe is your favorite – I am sure that you have many. I tried one recently with rosewater that was quite scrumptious and unique.

        Oh, and thanks for the recommendation on Restaurant Divided. I love it! I watched the Italian family last week and the Greek family this week – excellent!

      2. Awww good question! I have many but I believe I have a baklava recipe on here. I love to infuse mine with lemon and orange rind, and use tons of honey, and I don’t add to much sugar. A hint of vanilla is always nice in the mix too.

        Yes, I love that show! I am glad you love it. It’s funny, I didn’t see who won the Italian one??

      3. Baklava reminds me of honey. Amidst flaky layers of light dough. That is why I love it. I would love a no-fail recipe with great instructions. It is such an amazing dessert!!!!

        For the Italian show, the brother won with his steak house concept, though the sister’s chef skills and a few of her dishes will be implemented….
