A great summer dish!

Here is a exotic halibut recipe for everyone to try. Enjoy-

Seared Halibut with Mango & Avocado Salsa-

Serves 4-


1 large mango- diced

1 avocado- diced lengthwise

3 tbsp of red onion- minced

3 tbsp of cilantro- minced

1 jalapeno- finely chopped, remove seeds.

2 tbsp of fresh lime juice

sea salt & pepper to taste

1 tbsp of olive oil

1 garlic- minced

4 halibut fillets, skin removed


To make the salsa- Combine the mango, avocado, onion, cilantro, jalapeno, lime juice, and garlic to a medium size bowl.  Add salt and pepper and mix.

Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Season the halibut with salt and pepper, and pan sear it. (Until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.) Flip each side. Remove and place fish on plates, and top the fish off with the avocado & mango salsa. You can add a bit of lemon or extra lime juice.
