Easy Chocolate Lava Cake Recipe-
5 tbsp butter
3.5 oz dark chocolate
2 large eggs
1 egg yolk
3 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp flour
2 tsp cocoa powder
pinch of salt
2 tsp of vanilla flavoring
Powdered sugar for topping
Melt the butter and chocolate together over a double-boiler. Stir to combine. Whisk together the eggs and sugar until the mixture is light pale in color. About 4 minutes.
Combine the warm chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and whisk to combine. Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Fold in with a spatula until combined. Place into prepared 5 oz ramekins. Place in refrigerator for about 35 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees or 220 Celsius. Place ramekins into a baking dish, and place water about half way to the ramekins. (Place water outside of the ramekin in the baking dish, like a water bath.)
Bake for about 15 minutes and when done, sprinkle with powdered sugar. You can serve the chocolate lava cake with fresh vanilla ice cream.
