Vegetarian Hummus Wrap Recipe

  • 2 large tortillas (plain)
  • 1/2 cup of creamy hummus dip (recipe on the blog )
  • 1 cup of shredded lettuce, cabbage, or spinach
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced thin
  • 1/4 red onion, sliced thin
  • 2 slices of any cheese you love! We went with a mild cheddar
  • 1 large pepper, sliced thin
  • 1 large carrot, grated or sliced
  • Freshly chopped dill or parsley
  • Olive oil & lemon juice
  • Salt & pepper to season
  • Diced Kalamata olives are really good in this too!


  1. Place a large tortilla on the plate. Add the hummus and spread it out evenly but make sure you leave the outside border clean. I like to use about 2-3 tablespoons of hummus dip per tortilla.
  2. Then add your toppings of choice. Once you add the toppings drizzle with a little bit of olive oil and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper. Add the chopped parsley or dill.
  3. Begin to tightly roll the tortilla from the bottom up making sure to tuck in the sides first. The hummus will help seal the tortilla.
