Today is Saturday’s food for thought.

It is Saturday! Woo hooo. Today I wanted to talk about balsamic vinegar. You might just know of balsamic vinegar for it’s unique flavor or for your salad dressing. Lol In fact, balsamic vinegar brings many benefits to our bodies.

Balsamic vinegar has an anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties which can make it an effective remedy to treat infections.

Balsamic vinegar contains a powerful antioxidant called polyphenols, which fight cell damage and boost our immune system.  The antioxidant also has the potential to protect against heart disease, cancer and other inflammatory conditions.

Balsamic may help to control diabetes even. If you take 5 tsp of the vinegar with any meal, it will help with the insulin sensitivity. (Interesting.)

Balsamic can reduce cholesterol level.

Balsamic may reduce frequent headaches.

Balsamic contains important minerals that strengthen your bones.

Balsamic can help control your diet.

With all of that being said, why not have a few tsp a day. I already had my daily dose, but try to just add balsamic to your daily diet.
