Banana Creme Brulee Recipe-

Ingredients-

Yields- 4 servings

2 cups of milk

6 tablespoons of sugar

1 tsp of cinnamon

3 tsp of vanilla bean/ vanilla flavoring

4 ripe banana

4 egg yolks

chef torch, sugar

Directions-

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Pour the milk into a medium saucepan, and add about 2 tablespoons of sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and bananas. (Make sure to mash the bananas pretty well before adding them to the pan.) Place heat to medium-high and let it come to a boil. Once at a boil, remove from heat and cover the pan with a tight lid. Let all the flavors come together for a few minutes.

In a medium bowl, beat the egg yolks and 1 tablespoon of sugar until pale yellow and thick. Then strain the hot milk and pour it slowly into the yolk mixture while whisking. Next pour the mixture back into the pan and keep siring until a wooden spoon is coated on the back. (About 3-5 minutes.)

Pour the mixture into 4 ramekins, and place each ramekin into a baking dish. Fill the dish with water until about halfway up to the ramekins. Bake until the ramekins are set but slightly jiggly. (Approximately 30 minutes or so.) Remove from water bath, and let cool then chill for about an hour.

To top them off, sprinkle with white sugar and melt the sugar with a chef torch. Serve right after. Enjoy this lovely dessert.
