Happy Saturday & Saturday’s Food For Thought Is Here!!
“Beginning today, treat everyone you meet as if they were going to be dead by midnight. Extend to them all the care, kindness, and understanding you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same again.”
Og Mandino

🙂 Between your wonderful voice, healthy recipes, Greek flavors, lavender… what is NOT to love? xx Shanna
Lol agreed!! Haha, who wouldn’t love lavender and Greek food?? 🙂 🙂 Thanks Shanna
Exactly! 🙂
Shanna-
I forgot to ask you today. How do you set up different categories for recipes, like how you have it on your blog? I tried to do that but it didn’t work. :/
Hi, Krystina. When I first started blogging, I struggled with this – and with setting up a recipe page. I had no idea about anything WordPress related. Finally, I got it, thanks to some help and lots of googling! Send me an email with what you are trying to do and what’s not working and I will walk you through it. 🙂 Shanna
I will definitely reach out to you about this through email. I know it has taken me time to figure out WordPress, but I just want to basically make my categories stand at more. Especially the recipes.
Absolutely, Krystina. I am here for you to help! 🙂 Shanna
Thank you Shanna! 🙂
🙂
🙂 I am going to blog about the awards now. 🙂
🙂 OH, fun! Can’t wait to read!
🙂 Yes, I am writing about it right now. 🙂

I loved your responses. We have a lot in common. Though I have not been to Carmel – it is sounds quite heavenly from what I hear!
Thanks Shanna. Yes I noticed that too. We do have quite a lot in common. You and your hubby should visit Carmel! You would love it. The restaurants are great too. 🙂
Oh, gosh. First stop after his residency is a looonnngggg weekend in Carmel sans munchkins. Be well, Krystina! – Shanna
Lol, I can give you some great recommendations as to where to go in Carmel. I am very familiar with Carmel as it was a family trip back when I was very young. I actually got to go back not too long ago with my boyfriend, and it has changed quite a bit. I had a restaurant owner offer me a job as a chef and I really wanted to take it.
Oh, Krystina – Tell me more about this job. And the restaurant. I am so curious from a business standpoint if it would be a great opportunity for you – and also about atmosphere and opportunities! 🙂 Why didn’t you accept? What drew you to the job? What are your hesitations overall? Have a great night! – Shanna
PS Thank you – I will take you up on any recommendations. And your trip with your boyfriend sounds awesome! You two lovebirds. 🙂
That is great news!! 🙂
🙂 You deserve it. I hope that this will make your following EVEN bigger. Great blog!
Thank you Shanna, and me as well. 🙂

Hi, Krystina. What a meaningful quote. It is beautiful and inspiring. Thank you for sharing with us! It’s nice to start the day with a gorgeous thought. 🙂
I appreciate that you mentioned me in such a kind and compassionate way. Thank you. You have a clear voice and vision that is displayed through your blog. And I can honestly say that every recipe is healthy, delicious – and uniquely yours.
The video is so interesting. I enjoy frozen fruits and veggies in meals or snacks where their texture can be “hidden.” They are affordable and it’s good to know that are higher in vitamins than food brought across the world to us. It also encourages me to strive to eat seasonally and locally. Maybe you could write a little post on great recipes for frozen fruits and vegetables?
Happy Saturday! 🙂 Keep up the great work!
Hi Shanna.
Thank you for your very kind words. 🙂
Happy Sunday to you too!! What are your Sunday evening plans?
Yes the video kind of shocked me in a way. I will definitely try to write a post on frozen fruit/vegetable recipes. Good idea!!!
Have a lovely evening!!
– Krystina
Hi,Krystina – It was a nice night in. I made some chicken fajitas and my hubby even made an appearance from the hospital. I think writing a about frozen foods would be a great challenge! I am now curious as to how to incorporate more in a delicious way! How was your night? 🙂 Shanna
Ohh chicken fajitas!! Yummy. Ohh he did, that is nice. I hope hes ok hence you said hospital. I know frozen food recipes are kind of hard. I am doing my research on that. My night was good. I made tiropita( cheese pie), orange and beef stir fry, bougatsa(pastry), and many other dishes. 🙂 It was a busy night, but a good one since I won all these awards from you. 🙂
The pie, stir fry and pastry sound GREAT. What else did you prepar in your chef-excellentness? Oh, my, I hope that you write about them all and post photos soon! My mouth is watering, Krystina. You are a super star! And so full of energy and enthusiasm. Keep it up! 🙂 Still looking forward to your email about category quesitons. xx Shanna
